Job Summary
The Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) at the University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a talented advanced level Electrical Engineer to join our team of developers, inventors, and explorers. LASP is a world-renowned research institute dedicated to the study of Earth's atmosphere, the Sun, its planets, and beyond. We design, build, and operate innovative spacecraft and instruments that push technological boundaries and enable groundbreaking scientific discoveries. In this role, you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge hardware development as a senior member of the electrical engineering team. In your position, you will be an electrical systems architect, planner, lead designer, and technology developer. You will contribute to the success of a space science mission and work the full project lifecycle from early concept development, through design, into production and testing, and early on-orbit operations. We offer a collaborative, academic work environment at world-class facilities nestled against the iconic foothills of Boulder Colorado. LASP strives to be a diverse community where employee empowerment, belonging, and new ideas are championed.
If you are passionate about advancing space exploration and believe in applying engineering fundaments towards new and innovative ways to explore, please apply! This position is contingent on a successful program win.
The University of Colorado Boulder is committed to building a culturally diverse community of faculty, staff, and students dedicated to contributing to an inclusive campus environment. We are an Equal Opportunity employer, including veterans and individuals with disabilities.
Who We Are
LASP is a world-renowned space science research institute at the University of Colorado Boulder. LASP is one of the top space science research institutes in the country employing approximately 500 scientists, engineers, support personnel, and students.
